DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
All duties will be performed in coordination with each cooperatives' mechanic, purchasing agents, and other job roles as needed.
Performs all day-to-day operations of the warehouse in accordance with established procedures.
Prepare requisitions to maintain adequate inventory levels.
Receive vendor shipments; unload and verify items and quantities received with those ordered, verifying the packing slips.
Stock all items in the warehouse and yard in an organized, efficient manner.
Deliver materials to crews in the field when requested.
Receive returns and restock salvage material.
Perform physical inventory upon request.
Ensure the accuracy of material counted.
Inspect and operate the forklift and other equipment needed to perform warehouse duties in a safe, proficient manner.
Maintain warehouse and yard in a clean, orderly manner that promotes efficiency and safe working conditions.
Other appropriate duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalency is required.
Working knowledge of RUS units is a plus.
Experience:
One to three years of experience in warehouse and inventory control is preferred.
Experience in shipping, receiving, distributing, and storing materials is preferred.
ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
Must possess basic computer knowledge.
Must possess or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
Must possess or be able to obtain knowledge for forklift operation certification.
Must be able to operate equipment, including a forklift and other related equipment.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more, as necessary, without external assistance of personnel or mechanical aids.
Must have sight to be able to see working conditions from a safety standpoint.
Must be able to walk in uneven and difficult terrain.
Must be willing to travel between both FESCO member co-op offices.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work schedule will be performed both inside and outside each day.
The individual must be willing to work in all adverse and inclement weather conditions.
Overtime may be required at times of heavy workload or outages.
